BuzzFeed
I launched BuzzFeed Australia Video in 2015, marking the beginning of a dynamic journey that soon took me to Hollywood Studios in LA. At BuzzFeed, I co-created the popular series Bring Me and produced and hosted a variety of videos for both news and entertainment channels, with some of our content reaching up to 50 million views. My time at BuzzFeed also saw me spearheading my own viral series, Obsessed, where I showcased queer Arab non-binary perspectives and explored impactful stories.
In this role, I tackled a range of compelling topics, from LGBT+ homelessness in LA and refugee-run restaurants in Toronto to high-profile interviews with figures like Baby Spice and David Hasselhoff. My work at BuzzFeed involved creating and managing content that not only captured diverse experiences but also engaged and resonated with a global audience. Long story short, there was never a dull moment, and I thrived in the fast-paced environment, consistently delivering content that was both innovative and impactful.
